Ingredients
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 lbs french green beans (Haricots Verts) ends removed and cut in half
- 8 cloves garlic roughly chopped
- 2 tbsp white miso paste
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tsp maple syrup
- 2 tsp toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
- In a small bowl or measuring cup, mix together miso paste, soy sauce, sesame oil and maple syrup.
- Heat a cast iron pan on high heat. Add olive oil. Once the oil is glistening, add green beans and cook for 8-10 minutes, turning a few times so that they cook evenly.
- Add garlic and toss to mix well with the green beans. Cook 1 minute.
- Pour miso mixture over green beans and toss to coat. Cook 1-2 minutes until the green beans get sticky and covered in the sauce.
